About Us Amy Caplan founded Caplan Art Designs in 1998 and has been growing ever since. She has an Art and Design background with 6 years experience as a Gallery Director and over 15 years experience framing art. She currently represents over twenty local Portland artists. Many of these artists are showcased in First Thursday shows at Countrywide Home Loans, Street Car Loft Windows, Daily Café in the Pearl, Daily Café at the Tram(south waterfront) and other retail establishments in the Pearl District. In addition, you may also see these artists showcased at J Café and other fine venues that constantly change and grow.
