I love paint especially oils. Oil is a total sensory experience; its look, smell and the beautiful way it glides off the brush. My work consists of many different elements occurring in each painting in various degrees. The same themes run throughout: liminal space, opposites(color, micro/macro, hard/soft, push/pull), light within and occasionally my work can be didactic. These are only clues to the finished work because in the end ultimately it is the viewer’s participation to interpret meaning for themselves.
