After many years of studying the human figure (both as a scientist and as an artist), I have finally pared down the forms to line and shape in both two and three dimensions.
By drawing expressively with ink from a dropper, I can now develop gestural figures of infinitely varied lines and shapes, many of which actually suggest the moving human form!
I still add color and texture to specific works to complete a mood and sense of music; those design elements hopefully suggest music through the strong association of sound and color.
